well, it would be nice to see more of it and from a more reasonable angle. as far as I can tell, it's a conversation between the Buddha and his favourite pupil, Ānanda. This is not very unusual for sūtra-literature.
They are talking about a woman, which the Buddha [ahd set out?] to unsurpassed enlightenment in previous lives. She was also the Buddha's mother previously. It's not very correctly written though.
